Home Reno Inc. (“HRI”, “we”, “us”) provides a mobile application that assists with flooring measurements and planning. This Privacy Policy explains how the current version of the App and our website handle personal information.

1) Scope

This Policy covers the HRI mobile application and our website (homeri.ca). It describes what we collect, how we use it, where data is stored, and your choices.

2) Information We Collect (App)

• Login details (on device): email address and password you enter to access the App.

• Preferences (on device): basic settings (e.g., theme).

• Temporary session data (on device): navigation state and form inputs used while the App is open.

No photos, location, sensor streams, analytics, or ads are collected in this version.
No device permissions (camera, photos, microphone, location) are requested.

3) Information We Collect (Website)

• Contact information: if you email us or submit a form, we receive the details you provide (e.g., name, email, message). This is handled through standard email services.

4) How We Use Information

• App functionality: authenticate you and operate core features during your session.

• Support & operations (website/email): respond to inquiries and maintain basic records required for support or legal obligations.

5) Storage, Retention & Deletion

• On-device only (App): App data is stored locally and not uploaded to HRI servers or third parties.

• Session-only (App): App data exists while the App is running and is cleared when you close the App, restart the device, or uninstall.

• Website/support emails: kept only as long as needed for support, security, or legal requirements, then deleted.

How to delete data: close the App or uninstall it (removes locally stored App data). For website/support emails, contact arya@homeri.ca.

6) Sharing & Selling

• We do not sell personal information.

• We do not share App data with third parties.

• Website/support emails may be processed by standard email infrastructure solely to deliver messages.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to our limited data handling. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8) Children

The App is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information via the website, contact us and we will address it.

9) International Processing

App data remains on your device. Website/support emails may be routed through infrastructure that operates outside your province or country.

10) Your Choices

• Use the App without granting device permissions (none are requested in this version).

• Delete App data by closing the App or uninstalling it.

• Contact us to request deletion of website/support emails.
